Crochet basket with lid

Crochet basket with lid; an amazing kit to crochet a beautiful large basket and a matching lid.

The crochet basket with lid (kit) contains; 

• 1.5 skein of 5mm Bobbiny Braided cotton cord in the colour of your choice
• 1 x 25cm round wooden basket base
• 1 x 9mm  crochet hook, 1 x Leather handle for the lid
• 1 x printed crochet pattern with pictures and links to LilyK Yarn Shop YouTube tutorials
• An additional 5mm crochet hook is required but not included in the kit!

For this basket, you need to know two basic crochet techniques such as a double crochet and a slipstitch (UK). Your tension is important to make even stitches and rounds.  To close each round, a invisible seem is used and explained in the pattern.

So how do you get the knitted stitch look, well we work through the middle of the double crochet, which makes it a bit harder but the result is stunning and sturdy.
